Florida Gators - Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - The Gator's Finest Home Field

There are different stadiums across America where football games happen. Different tournaments and tactics are implemented to attract people and increase in the gains of the businessmen. These stadiums are not only sources of incomes but they are also venues for making history. They are perfect places for great things to happen, all good and bad. One of the stadiums in the USA that has contributed to the memories of the state is Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.

This stadium is located in Florida. They have many tenants and if you go to Jacksonville, this is the greatest venue for football to happen. It is rose on the St. John Rivers after Gator Bowl Stadium was demolished. Different football tournaments occur in, all part in making football history to the state of Florida. Three important matches are held annually and the following are:

1. River City Showdown- This is a match for the Seminoles to fight other teams within the same state. Their operations started in 2007 on which the Gator Bowl Association sponsored it.

2. Dr. Pepper ACC Championship Game- This is sponsored by the Atlantic Coast Conference to determine their football champions. The teams who will fight for the title are the winners in both division (Atlantic and Coastal). Jacksonville Municipal Stadium became their venue for 3 years.

3. The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party- This is the yearly game set-up for Florida Gators and University of Georgia Bulldogs. This game is also one of the main attractions in the area. There are so many memorable games built in this stadium. No wonder it can increase the number of attendance between 60,000-70,000.

Jacksonville Municipal Stadium is now one of the best stadiums in the country. This stadium was formerly a venue for playing soccer and football. Great things happened in this stadium because it where the Gator Bowl was hosted. This match is one of the important matches as it has a great number of attendances. It is also aired on television on a prime time show. The celebrities came for concerts in here. The Beatles came to play for the Florida fans back 1964.

One of the most exciting events is the post party celebration after the annual Florida-Georgia or Georgia-Florida match (known as The Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party). It is such a great experience for the audience because they get to be seated alternatively to create a beach ball effect with the colors of both teams. Tailgating is also popular at this time, as both teams will be playing for a neutral zone. The greatest games and some unfortunate ones happen on this match. Georgia Bulldogs have an overall of 46 wins and the latest was in 2007. While the Florida Gators have an overall 37 wins and the latest was in 2006.

Jacksonville Municipal Stadium is now the new home for the Florida football teams. It is the finest in college football for their facilities. The famous Gator Bowl happens on this wonderful stadium and it continues to be the venue where the Gators build their winning history in football.
